Mike Roethler has been with Seals Ambulance since 2002 and was promoted to director of training in 2010. He earned a degree in public safety from Ivy Tech Community College and obtained his paramedic certification through the program at Community Health Network. Mike also holds a critical care paramedic certification from University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

Mike is part of the Training Center Faculty – those who can train and mentor instructors – for the American Heart Association in basic life support for health care providers, advance cardiac life support and pediatric advance life support. He also holds instructor certifications from the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians for safety, pre-hospital trauma life support, advanced medical life support and emergency pediatric care. He is certified by the National Safety Council as an emergency vehicle operator.
