GOING GREEN

Seals Ambulance is doing our part to stay green by providing 24 hour First Aid to The Fowler Ridge Wind Farm project in Benton County, near the town of Fowler, Indiana.

The Fowler Ridge Wind Farm sits on a 50,000 acre site. When complete, it will be one of the largest single wind-power facilities in the World. When in full operation, the Fowler Ridge Wind Farm will generate enough carbon-free electricity to power more than 200,000 average American homes.

Phase one of the Fowler Ridge Wind Farm is expected to employ approximately 350 workers during its construction. The project will employ a full-time staff of more than 20 workers who will monitor and maintain the site after phase one has become fully operational.


The Fowler Ridge Wind Farm LLC is owned by BP Alternative Energy North America Inc. and Dominion Resources Inc. Mortenson Construction has been contracted to build this phase of the project. BP America is the largest producer of oil and gas in the United States and one of the nation’s largest energy investors. Dominion is one of the nation's largest producers and transporters of Energy.
